No spark question

Big block duster project. Ran fine a few weeks ago. Had to do some headlight wiring, and electric fan wiring. Go to fire it up and not getting spark. Nothing has changed? All brand new parts. And ideas on where to start.

I just went outside and as soon as the ign is turned on the positive of the coil gets hot to the touch...any thoughts?

You have a short.
Check all of your headlight wiring or anything else you may have had apart wiring wise.
