74-90 318 harmonic the same

hello folk's haven't been onin a while but any who, im putting a few part's on my motor an am wondering is a 90 harmonic the same as a 74?? I know 74 had he steal crank's an the newer 1's had the cast but I just cant remember.. I go the 1 I pulled of the 74.. think... but the 90 harmonic balancer is in great shape compared to the 74.. any info would be great guy's

74 318 wouldn't have a forged crank , but a 74 is internal balanced , if the 90 is also , meaning it's not a magnum then it to would be internal balanced ...

I forgot more about small blocks than I can remember ...

you can use the newer one, they are the same for 318 67 into the 90s

the 3.9 v-6 flywheel & damper will work on the 318 also. they are internal balnced.

ok thanks guy's I read that it was up tell 74 an some 80's truck's had steel cranks factory?? but any who thanks guy's got it bolted on.

ALL 318s and 5.2 Magnum engines are internally balanced. Doesn't matter which crank it has.
