67 gtx turn indicator location

My car is supposed to have them so I bought a set and now trying to figure out where they go. Anyone got pictures? I had someone give me a figure from the bullet to the back of the fender and want to make sure BEFORE I start drilling

Measuring with a straight edge to the top gap between the grill and the fender to the rear edge of the bullet gives me 9.5 inches
