I need to replace the headlight assemblies on my daughters 01 pt. They are yellowed beyond the point of polishing. Has anyone used these aftermarket replacements? Do they fit? will the plastic hold up? and lastly how hard are the assemblies to change?

All the after market ones on ebay are Kun Fu and what I found was they leak water and the bulbs aren't very bright. Some of the parts store ones are made in south of the border and might be a little better.I put Kun Fu ones in my Neon, they leak and fit so, so, in fact one has green stuff growing in it. Best thing is to drill a small hole so any water can evaporate. Also I put the best Silvana bulbs in and what a difference they make. Its almost like having a 4 lamp set up. I can see again.

Nothing on a cruiser is easy. Have you tried the Mothers kit with the sanding pads and polish. It worked well on both my Cruisers?
