'68 Coronet 440 vs 500 Tail Light Question

Does anyone know if the tail light housings are the same part for the Coronet 440 & the Coronet 500 ones?

They look the same to me but I don't have my parts book handy. I have a really clean set of the 440 lights & thought that if the housing was the same I might save some money by buying the repro bezels instead of the whole set up.

I went through that a while ago. I am pretty sure the lens and housing are the same, with the chrome of course being different pieces for the 500 and r/t.

They sure look identical, but finding out from someone who knows is better than buying & experimenting.

Time to unpack that parts manual.
