Hey guys what is the trick when using this type of wrap, not to end up with a bunch of loose strings during the wrap process. The DEI is different than the Cool It Thermo Tec.

Haven't had the loose string problem. I overlap the starting point, overlap each pass about 25-30%, and at the ends I'll use a metal tie-wrap, or a hose clamp if I need to unwrap it in the future for servicing or access. If I use a hose clamp, I always trim the length of the tail during mock-up for a clean appearance and to prevent catching something on it.

Like when you have to replace the thermally disintegrated tube it is insulating

...that could be, but I only run the stuff near the starter and those cars don't see rain. No problems yet (fingers crossed).
