A618 Slip Yoke question - 06/16/13 08:13 PM

I'm into swapping a 1990 618 Trans into my 1979 d150 Crew Cab.
The Bell has been cutted and I Took an Ultra Bell to mate the Trans to my 360 SB.

I only know the Trans came Out of a Diesel from 1990.
Can I use a 727 Slip Yoke to mate it with the Drive shaft?

I've read splines (angles??) changend somewhen????

I just went out and checked

I wanted to know also

The 727 is from a 79
the 618 is a 92

I knew the 72/727 drive shaft yoke, in our crew cab/ car hauler fit the 518,just was not sure about the 618

We have again changed the drive line, to A Cummins
5-speed/3.07 rear gear
