I have a set of 15 inch universal lug wheels. The lug hole is slotted and were measured and look like they will fit 4.5 to 5.0 inch lug patterns. They came off a 70 Roadrunner. Can anyone tell me if they can be used on a GM vehicle.

Chances are, yep..the UniLug wheels can go on 5 on 4.5 and 5 on 4.75 (most GM cars) just by using the correct washers.

if the lugs fit and dont shift and the back-spacing is roomy than why not?

With correct washers, they'll fit 4.5, 4 3/4, and 5".
