04 jeep reardriveshaft removal????

I am trying to replace the rear u-joint on my 04 jeep

wrangler i removed the drivshaft end from the

rear but it has what appears to be a boot with

pinch clamps holding in the slip yoke end. to the

case. Do i cut the clamps and get a new boot?
