Crankshaft Sockets

Crankshaft Sockets - 06/06/13 12:35 PM

Can someone help me order the right Tool here? I don't have access to my crank at the moment, and I'm kind of confused on there descriptions. Their descriptions are references 'inside diameter'... not sure if they meant O.D., or I'm clearly not understanding something. It is for a 318.

i think you need part number 4799 it is a nice piece, you can mount a degree wheel on it with the knurled nut. proform makes the same thing for about half the price but i think it is aluminum, number PRO-67493. i bought the comp cams chrysler degree kit 4937 and it came with the socket.

Tell us what you want the tool to do, a crankshaft socket to turn the crank bolt or a crank bolt type tool to hold a degree wheel ?

I need it to hold my degree wheel. The ability to turn the crank is just a bonus. I ended up ordering the 4799 model from summit. Hopefully it does what I need it to do, thanks!
