Install of offset UCA bushings? - 05/02/13 09:33 PM
I only come across rubber bushings that are offset. I thought I saw someone post a link to poly offset bushings but can't find the thread. 71 B body

Yep guys that's them, thanks. But at that price I would just buy some tubular control arms. Just ordered some rubber offsets by moog.

Quote:Steve, on a DD 65 dart I have DR camber neg .2 & caster pos .1 Pass camber neg .2 (same) but caster neg 2.4. would you suggest I add an offset bushing to the pass front UCA leg to kick the spindle around rearward or use both bushings to move both ends outward (more positive camber) then align accordingly to get the caster the same as the dr side
The offsets put the imaginary line of the front and rear bushings at a large offset. So there needs to be some give in the bushings or there will be a bind.

Yes I was at the limits. I told the guy to get zero camber & as much positive caster as he could & that's what he came up with. He opionated that something might be bent but nothing jumped out at me when I put it together from scratch from a roller. I dont remember if I used any poly but I think I was sitting on the kit for quite awhile & used it & it was all rubber. EDIT Would you suggest 1 or both offset bushings?
