Cabin Filter on 05 Town and Country - need help - 04/07/13 10:30 PM

Hey Guys,

I bought a cabin air filter for my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van. But, the box on the passenger side does not look like any of the ones on the web. It looks sealed. Any ideas? Does anyone know if it's even serviceable in 2005? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks !
Randy

Some had them and some didn't. If the cover is molded into the HVAC housing it doesn't have one.

A dust and odor air filter is standard equipment on models equipped with the three zone temperature control systems. The filter element is the same size as the front A/C evaporator to ensure ample filtering capacity. A removable door on the bottom of the front HVAC housing below the glove box provides easy access to the filter element for replacement. The filter should be checked and replaced at least once every 24,000 km (15,000 miles ) and checked if heater-A/C system performance seems lower than expected.
