904 to 727?

I have a 904 behind my 408 that has problems. My question is if I change to the 727 will my column shifter linkage and kickdown work the same? Also is the crossmember and tranny mount the same distance? I realize I will have to change the length of the driveshaft. Any comments would be appreciated.

Trans mount is the same.

Most of the kickdown linkage is different, at least on an a-body it is. I don't know about the other body styles.
