whats the best year vega hatch to use for daytona rear

building a budget daytona clone. can someone tell me the beast year vega hatch to use. Thanks

I seriously doubt there is a JY with a rack full of them marked by year.
The ones without the vent slots would be the first choice, but ANY without rust, good window and trim will do from what I've read.

The traditional response is the 74-76 Vega and Pontiac Astre hatch back. You can use the earlier ones but you have to weld the louvers up.
