Clutch switch on 71 e body

Clutch switch on 71 e body - 03/14/13 11:20 PM

My clutch switch has not worked in years. I do not see how it connects to the clutch pedal. There is an arm but it does not make contact. It is working as normally open, when the arm lever is pressed most of the way , it closes the circuit. Does anyone have a picture of the installed clutch switch?

Don't know about E-body but the B-body has a figure eight link about an inch long that hooks over the end of the switch arm and goes to a stud on the clutch pedal arm.

It looks like you are missing the pin that the clip attaches to...

Where can I get a good clutch switch reproduction?

No reproduction. Brewers has them and also Jules the wiper motor guy on here restores them. He can make yours look just like an Nos one. He does Great work...

I gues you have to email him thru his web page and ask for price ! If Jules can help you i might be abel to becas i have a 1971 nice used and a NOS so you can pick the one you prefer but there is a catch..... I live in Sweden (Europe) so it will take a few days more to ship
