98 ram 1500 calipers - 03/10/13 02:42 AM

I need front calipers on my ram one is hanging up a little. will the Fenco Advance auto rebuilds be good or should I get Mopar parts from the dealer? Anyone use the Fenco stuff is it China Junk? I'll spend a little more if I get good parts. Just don't want to spend more for the same junk in a different box.

I haven't had many problems with them over the past. I wouldn't be worried about using them

Right one was hanging up on my '98 1500 three years ago, I just grabbed one from Autozone.

Been fine every since.

Used Advanced on my 99 Durango.they have been on at least 6 years now.No problems. We used a lot of them at the shop also.Years ago I rebuilt them at home and at the shop. Now they are so cheap its not worth the time.Oh yeah change both.My 99 one hung and I was in a hurry to get to an auction.Left the shop and withing 20 miles the other did the same.Had to go back and change it.Rocky

Make sure it is not the brake hose. I had it happen to me. They are famous for collapsing and not letting the pressure off the caliper....

Yes I will check the hoses out. I was going to put new hoses on anyway if it was the calipers since I had it apart anyway. My neighbor and another friend both told me to make sure it wasn't just the hoses.
