72 challenger brake light power question - 02/28/13 03:54 PM

I was wondering if the power to the switch on the pedal is supplied from the turn signal switch or does it come from the fuse block to the pedal switch to the turn signal switch?
I have turn signals and running lights but no power to either side on the pedal switch.
Thanks

(1) the 2nd one (2) The pink wire is the hot wire from the fuse box to the brake switch (think hot pink ) and the white wire is the out wire to the TS assy. I'd start at the brake light fuse/fuse holder/connections for the open then work toward the brake switch

I dont remeber my wire colors off hand but one side of the switch has a single wire and the other had double wires. I will check it later tonight. Thanks for help at least I know now that the power comes from the fuse to the pedal switch to the turn signal switch

Yes there's 2 pink wires on that particular setup (which should be hot all the time). The wiring diagrams at www.mymopar.com will help you further
