I compared an OE one side by side to a piece of vac line & they're identical ex for the OE one has a groove cut lengthwise on the outside that does not affect fit or function. Dont remember what size of line, my parts house just snipped me off a piece.

I got a dozen of them from him also a couple years ago. They DO NOT come with rebuilt masters!

Ever had the push rod come out of the master cylinder on a 10 sec car. If the grommet is not there, the only thing keeping the pedal from coming back and disengaging the m/c is the flimsy tab used for the brake light switch. Pretty helpless feeling going for the pedal and the rod is against the firewall. Destroyed a $20K car over that rubber grommet. you need it. I also make a positive stop for my brake pedals now. Not too hard to get your foot accidentally behind the brake pedal when going to tag the brakes@ 135 so as not to hog the finish line.
