The mounts came with a 340 I got. not sure what they are for please educate me. the rubber mount is part number 2266

1967 to 1972 and some early 1973 A motor for A bodys. 1973 Mopar chnaged the K members and motor mounts to the spool type, some early A body cars got the old style until they where used up is what I have heard, I had a 1973 Dart Sport 340 car that had the earlier K member in it

Yep.
68-72 A-body 340 motor mount brackets. IIRC, its the drivers side that is special for 340 block (and 360). The other side is the same as 273 or 318. The rubber insulators are the same as other 67-72 small blocks.
Those brackets are availible very good repro brand new powder coated. Used value on those does not generally exceed new repo value.

Oh don't get greg purcell started on this that A body brackets never had 4 bolts...
Those sure look like they'd work on a 67-72 273-318 engine.

I assumed since they came on a 340 they were 340 brackets. Not a good assumption.
So are those 340 brackets or 273/318?

Brackets appear to be same width, not more narrow on drivers side like ears on production 340-360 blocks.
The easy way to fix it is use a nut or shim stock to narrow up the width.
