confused about taillight mounting on 68 Charger - 01/18/13 03:54 PM
Ok, I'm confused....I have a 68 Charger that has a big gaping hole where the taillights are supposed to go, so I believe I need a bracket to bolt on to the rear panel to mount the tail lights. I called AMD to see if they had it and the guy told me the bracket was welded to the tail panel.
I referenced another charger and it looks like a bolt on deal, and mine looks like there's a place to bolt on a bracket.
I owned a 68 charger before but never paid much attention to the rear tail panel.... I really need these brackets; I've seen photo examples on the internet, but others are telling me they are part of the panel....
Car is painted already so I certainly hope this is a bolt in part....
Anyone shed some light on this mystery?
