Back up light switch

I own a 68 Dodge Monaco 500 which has bucket seats and the factory console and shifter. I noticed that my back up light stays on and wanted to know if that light ran directly off the switch in the tranny or if there is another switch in the console connected to the shifter linkage. Anyone have any info??

A 68 should still have the console switch me thinks.
