wanted throwout bearing hydraulic line - 12/05/12 03:50 AM
i need to purchase a flexible hydraulic line for my Keisler throwout bearing. Keisler only supplies a hard line from the bearing out which is converted to a flexible line. I tried calling them and they cannot help.
Im looking for a source that could fabricate a flexible line from my Wilwood master cylinder to the FTE (keislers supplier) throwout bearing.

In line tube can generally fab whatever you need. I had some custom brake lines done by them. I mocked it up by cutting the correct ends off lines that didn't fit and joining them with a correct length of fuel hose and clamps. I sent the mock up in and they sent matching brake lines back. Fit was perfect.

Any parts store that makes HYD, lines can make what you need, just supply the thread size, line length, etc...you could also go to McMaster Carr com, they can supply just about any line you need, made to your specs

What type of fitting is on the throw out bearing?
Why not just get AN adapter fittings for it and the master cylinder then it is as simple as getting some AN lines made up... (The master cylinder side will be simple, just not sure what the bearing end looks like?)

On the throw out side...could you use one of these..
http://www.anplumbing.com/search/index?search_text=305-03M121and use an AN hose with a 90 degree fitting on the end? (Or no room for that even?)
There is a really good local hose place here that would be able to whip you something up I bet, TMR in the city of Orange...just not sure if they do mail order or not? Might be a worth a call to them if you have no other luck else where at least.
