MSD and factory tach

Guys I'm finishing up a 70 GTX. Running the factory tach, yes I know it's not accurate and a MSD 6al box. Not my car. Will I need a msd tach adaptor, or just hook it up to the port on the box? Thanks.

if it is a factory tach, you will need the tach adapter.
