Is there any MOPAR B-Body Electric fan setup out there?

hey guys,, just wondering what you use if/when you want to use an electric fan setup..
Is there a particular brand/kit/setup you get at JEGS, Summit/Rock auto etc?

Can anyone point me in the right direction...
Just wanting to see whats out there, what it costs and
whats involved installing it... easy/hard/ etc..

I used the BeCool dual puller fan module. They have a kit on Summit that has the fans, relays for both fans + A/C, wiring, and sending unit for around $600 or so maybe?

It draws right at 20 amps when running and keeps my big block stroker cool with an aluminum radiator.

There is a long running thread on here with some guys who have adapted a Mercedes factory unit to work on the factory radiator as well but I have no experience on that one.

I used a fan made for an HHR on my 72 360 powered Challenger with no issues. I think it was somewhere on here where I found that suggestion.

Nearly anything out of the autowreckers will do. I'm using a wimpy fan from a Dodge Omni on my 360 Ram with a manual switch and it works great.

The best source though is any V6 minivan.

Used a Flex-a-Lite 480 dual puller setup on mine.
Either the 480 or 490 has the controller included with the kit - one does and one doesn't, but the fan assemblies are the same. Fits perfect on the 26" core radiator, but had to make some brackets from some flat stock and used some 10-24 or 1/4-20 bolts to attach fan to existing shroud mounts on rad. Dual fans allowed room for the slightly deeper nose on the March WP pulley.
Controller makes for slow, smooth startup on fans.
Temp sensor inserted into fins on rad. Controller on rad yoke on driver's side (trunk battery). Power comes from distribution/fuse box on firewall (from an 80's Maxima) - power there comes from alternator.

Not a cheap setup, by any means, but looks nice.

If it's primary cooling you need, stay far far away from those cheap parts store fans. I fought cooling issues for years. The Texas summer can really stress a cooling system.
The budget oriented fans do not pull enough amperage to do any real work. No amp draw means no air draw.
There is no standard for air flow on cooling fans. Many of those fans are rated at unrealistic capacity. Sure they will move a kajillion cfm with nothing in front of them. Once you stuff them behind a radiator and the fans have to work for a living they flounder badly.

Think in terms of engine torque. A 350 hp hemi powered Ram will outrun a 350 hp Cummins powered truck. Once you put 20,000 lbs behind the trucks and make them work the torque of that slow diesel will blow the hemi into the weeds.
The same goes for fans. The amperage drawn by the fans is a measure of how much work they will do.
OEMs have done millions of dollars of research for their cooling systems. You don't see Perma-Cool fans in new cars.
Take advantage of their hard spent money and follow their lead.

I dug up the Mercedes cooling fan thing. Hoosiewhatsit and Andrewh did the fan controller development. The system works great. It's not cheap but you get an excellent package.
