purple stick?

I had to pull my intake off to replace a bent valve in the head so I figured id check the cam if it had any marks on it. I was told that it was a Crower solid cam ,when i inspected it the front 1/3 was painted purple . did crower paint there cams this color I know MP did?

Crower cams are black. Mopar Performance cams are purple.

I think just measuring the valve lift rotating the assembly.
