10 inch tires.

any big advantage to putting a 10" tire on a 12" rim as apposed to a 10" rim? im running a high hp smallblock with a jerico and a 30.10-15 tire. i want to run the ram racing series next year and you cant run Ws in the g force 10.5 class. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
