Upper Radiator hose for 26" rad, drivers side inlet?

I have a 68 Coronet with a factory 26" radiator (car has AC). The radiator inlet is on the drivers side. I cannot seem to find an upper radiator hose that works. The stock replacement hose from the parts store was for a passenger side inlet. I searched the forums here, but could not find any posts with a PN. Does anyone have a PN or link handy?

Sounds like it has the wrong radiator or at least the wrong inlet hose location.

I would agree. With all the research I've done this seems to be the case (inlet on passenger's side). I should preface my post by saying that when I bought the car 5 years ago, it had this radiator combination in it, so I won't deny that it's not stock. That being said, I just had the radiator re-cored, and I still need a radiator hose

a scenario I see is , if it has the correct 1968 a/c compressor mounting. It mounts towards the drivers side of the engine and will seriously interfere the hose choice . That said you might look at a hose for a small block application or late 90's truck applications

Ahhh I think you touched on something. It was originally a small block car. I put the 383 in and the engine connection was the same. So I didn't think that the BB rad was different than the small block rad. BTW I mounted my AC compressor (newer rotary style) underneath the alternator so hose routing isn't an issue.

Look at a upper hose for lets say a 1990 Dodge pickup with a 360
It's pretty long and will be the same ID of the hose and is for the drivers side hose connection

My 1970 Sport Satellite is a small block car with factory a/c (factory 26" rad) . . . upper hose on drivers side . . . even had to trim the one I got from the parts store !
