Adding a power brake kit to a manual brake system - 09/12/12 01:55 PM
I have an A-Body with no room for a power brake booster. I have heard of a power brake kit that can be added somewhere under the car in the frame area. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Check with the street rod guys, but I think that has the pivot also down on the frame rail underneath ? Do you even have room under there ?
Is you issue pedal pressure ? If so you can fix that wit ha master cylinder with a different size piston .
You obviously have tried the small A body booster that is no the bracket that lifts it up attached to that offset adapter ?

Very nice!
Can't help you on the brakes, though.

A hydroboost system would likley fit. It gets its power from the PS pump (if you have one!).
