hi guys.i was bored and was thinking i want a posi.it is a one wheel wonder(have black marks to prove it lol)

so do they make a posi for this 8 and ?????

8 1/4 is what im guessing

or is it an 8 3/4?

let me know and if you have a posi setup let me know.i wanna a tire roasting gear like a 323 or 355! but also a decent one for a daily driver.

If you can put "POSI" in your Mopar,, the guys in Detroit might be interested in you..


however youn put a suregrip in it.

Yes, sureprips are available -- my Demon has one with 3.23 gears and I have another rear sitting in my backyard with one with 4.10 gears.

You don't want a 4;10 for a daily driver. You'd be winding way high RPMs at cruising speed. Check out this link to get an idea of gear ratios. http://vexer.com/68rt/speed.html

yeah if your wanting a good suregrip for a daily driver go with 3.23 gears i have 3.55's in mine and it revs at 3300 or so to do 70mph with an auto

so i could drive in the city at cruisin speeds and on the free way a about 70-80?

and do they make 323 gears for a 8 1/4 if so what would a price range be?

3.21 is the 8.25 gear ratio.

You could pull the back pan and count/do the math on what your current 8.25" has. That will help you make a better decision on what gear ratio will suit your future needs.
Besides, that thing is a mess, needs to be cleaned up anyways

(And who knows the last time the gear oil was changed... )

I think you need to write "SUREGRIP" 97 more times, take your Mustang buddies to the track (after it's installed), and hand in your homework.

That is for the gears. There aren't any suregrips listed on that page.
