Adding an electric trunk release

I've been thinking about adding a power trunk release to my 70 Charger. Would this setup work? And can you open the trunk with the key as well?

Setup is from an 80s 5th Avenue

Yes, it will work, just bolt it on and run the wiring. Also it will work with or without the key.
