Did the Magnum blocks have the same engine mount bracket bosses cast on the block as LA blocks? ie, 5.9 and 360...

to my knowledge yes. I have used an LA engine mounting stand before to hold a Magnum block

yes they do. Dropped a 2000 5.9 into my 65 coronet back in july.
