Turn the in gear idle up that's all I did for 30 years. My 509 wanted 950, my 533 1050 my 597/620 ultra dye solid wanted 1150, my 703/713 roller wanted 1250 but alas my booster finaly pooped so just took it off and went manual! buy or make a vacuum reservoir? Buy a vacuum pump.
Oh and first make sure the check valve at the booster is working and don't pump the brakes

I have put on 2 stock napa units and both leaked after a while. Looking for an aluminum off of something newer. I will look into an electric vac pump too.
