Did I make a mistake using TSM MFG. co?

I bought a set of TSM Street-rod Mfg. Co. B Body disk brakes for my Wife's 65 Coronet 500.
We took the car yo the Woodward cruise last night, the supplied Rotors seem to be warped and the Calipers that were supplied seem to drag in the stop and go traffic.
I checked with "Skip" the Owner and he told me that they have never had an issue with any of their components.
Anyone else use the TSM Brakes?
After a long discussion with Skip I found out that the Calipers are for a Chevy and the rotors are Lincoln Continental parts.
I wish I had know that before I gave them my Credit card number.
Anyone have a set of 73 to 76 A body disks for sale?

Yes, they use a GM caliper, and Lincoln rotors. That said, I've never heard of any systemic problems with brake drag. Did you order calipers with a park brake mechanism on them?

I think FEETS ran this system on the rear of his hot rod for several years.

I have a kit I bought as part of a group buy here some years ago, but have yet to install. My only concern is getting the pedal feel right with those rear calipers added to the original system.

All of the kits I have sen use GM calipers, (Ford in the rears) and often a Ford or a redrilled GM rotor.
The brand of the parts is not as important as finding out the cause of the problem.

I have mine over 10 years on my 67 BCuda vert, no problems at all, you may have another problem like in the mc or porp valve.

I don't like his comment that they have never had a problem. I find that very hard to believe just because it happens from time to time. They aren't manufacturing calipers and rotors, just reselling them.

With that said, you need to find out what is going on. It is easy to tell if you have warped rotors. A dial indicator is best, but anything that can be held steady near the rotor will give you an idea. Sticking calipers are a little harder, but can still be determined.

Before you go after TSM, reexamine your system.

Do you have any kind of residual pressure valve in the system? If so, that can cause dragging.
I assume you used the stock hubs up front? If so, is it possible there was a little rust or other surface imperfections on the face of the hub? That can cause runout issues like a warped rotor.

I didn't use their front brake kit. My car had their rear setup on it and I didn't have any problems with their parts. My issues were cause by the loose nut behind the wrench.

Rest assured that none of your parts came from GM or Ford. He likely sourced the parts from the aftermarket. That means they're easy and cheap to replace.

Well on closer examination it would seem the stock holes in the Lincoln rotor is not big enough for the stock Knurl on the studs.
I opened them up with my trustee uni-bit and it seems to have taken care of the warp issue. The calipers may have been the 3 miles of foot on the brake driving in the woodward Crawl. They are GM Parts afterall!
I have a few things to tidy up and I'll test drive the care and report back.

i dont think the problem is in the parts.. something is keeping the calipers applied.. and then your rotors got hot and warped.. if both calipers are dragging then look for a common link between the two.. what else was swapped? MC? combo valve? rubber brake hoses? ect..

If PB, I'd sure check the pushrod length (booster to m/cyl). Quick check: Wheels off ground, brakes dragging. Loosen m/mcyl mounting bolts a few turns and slip some small screwdrivers between m/cyl and booster. Dragging stops? Pushrod too long.
