Did all '71 Plymouth B-bodies with A/C have dash vents?

Looked at what was supposedly a '71 roadrunner that was for sale, car had an A/C set-up (A/C firewall, A/C setting on hvac control panel) but no compressor etc. underhood. Car also had no vents in the dash (only vents were under dash and defroster) the VIN was an RM code but no fendertag/buildsheet. This seems odd, only thing I can come up with is that the car was originally a Satellite (or RR?) with A/C and someone swapped out the dash and VIN.....any thoughts on this?

The dash should look like this one in mine... evidently the dash in that car has been swapped out.

Thanks for the confirmation. Going from memory, the VIN was RM23N1G122???....
