Does anyone make a fuel vapor separator for a 440 70 Challenger with 3/8 fuel lines and 1/4 return? The ones I have found all have 5/16 fuel inlet and outlets.

I question the need. What the smaller lines will do is cause the fuel velocity to increase as it goes through the smaller tubes. This will increase the friction loss somewhat, but I doubt it will add so much loss that you can't get fuel through the lines.
Keep in mind that fuel is a liquid. Every foot of the fuel line contributes some friction loss or, for the engineers out there, head loss. So what this short length of smaller diameter line does is increase the head loss. It is equivalent to increaing the length of the fuel line by a few feet.

3/8" is only needed on the suction side(on big HP motors), the discharge side of the pump is best at 5/16", that's all you need.
All pumps for the most part no matter what there pumping should have a larger inlet than discharge. Our fuel pumps on our old cars are no different.
My 440 6 pak with factory 5/16" VS runs great with plenty of fuel from my mechanical pump on the motor.

A few years ago I was looking for the same thing and found it. If you do a search on it you will find the part # that I found. Yes, Fram makes a fuel filter with 3/8" inlet and outlet and a 1/4" return line. No, it does not look exactly like the original and it doesnt have the mounting tab to bolt it to the fuel pump. But if you solder a tab on it and paint it black, it will make a reasonable looking substitute for a very cheap price

Thanks guys, did not realize the fuel pump had a 5/16 outlet. I am going to check out the WIX filter. I just did not want to slow the fuel delivery down.
