AM/FM radio - 11/02/08 06:17 PM

I found this radio in mopar laying on the floor in a junkyard car 20+ years. Works but never have put it in anything. Was wondering what it came out of? Number on white tag is 3501623. Thanks.

I have one here with the exact same number. Seller told me it was from a `73 "A" body. It came with A body knobs, faceplate and the black pushbuttons would be right for A or B body.

If the white tag is on it, there'll be an ink-stamped 4-digit date code.

It's an A body AM FM, fits 70-76 .
Someone made a half a$$ attempt to put it in a 70 B body at one time, as you can see the holes they drilled in front housing and the 70 B body inner knobs (with 71-4 outer knobs).

I have one of these and I used it successfully in my 70 b body for years. The clear plastic doesn't fit the bezel, but it is good enough if you want FM music for cheap. I finally got the right AM and had it converted with modern internals.
