hi
what parts should i change in my a500 transmission to get it change gears earlyer.i put a a500 transmission from a 1990 dodge van into my 33 plymouth.it changes to late.
anyone know?could i take some parts from a a904 transmission passenger car?

How do you have the kick-down linkage adjusted? Ease up on the kick-down lever a little and it'll lower the line, in return bringing the shift points at slower speed.

i use lokar kit that is adjusted correct.i have tryed to remove it too,but it is the same.

Are you saying with the Lokar disconnected it still shifts late?

With no linkage or cable and the transmission lever full forward it should shift way early.

what speeds/rpms are you seeing your shifts?
