Anyone install XV Motorsports Power windows?

Possibly interested in getting a power window conversion for E body. Have you bought one and installed it? Any good?

I bought a 2 window kit direct from Nu-Relics, they make the XV kits. Nice thing is they have an assist spring, unlike the Electric Life kits.

Pretty straightforward install. Quality of the motor and gears is very good. Switches and wiring are standard generic stuff, but OK. Everything worked the first time.

Alignment was a bear, but that was the fault of the car and weatherstripping. I was trading ease of closing for a good seal. Now that it's done. they can still be a little slow going up, but a little silicone spray on the rub strips keeps things moving.

Overall satisfied with them.

Other folks has converted the wiring harness that comes with the kit to use OEM PW switches.
