Turn signals, but no brake lights

Turn signals, but no brake lights - 05/16/12 06:04 PM

I'm trying to get my '68 Roadrunner up to par for inspection, and my turn signals are working, but not my brake lights. I've checked and made sure that I've got continuity for both filaments in each of the bulbs. I only want to take apart my steering column to check the turn-signal switch as a last resort. Any connections I should check? Anyone have a wiring schematic for a '68 Plymouth?
Thanks in advance for any help.

How about the simple thing like do you have power in and out of the brake light switch to the turn signal switch? If you do then the problem is going to be the ts switch. The same wires feed from the switch to the rear lights for ts and brake lights. If you have rear signals then the wiring is good from the switch to the lights.

simple things first.
do you have dash lights?
if not could the fuse be burned out?
has happened to me. looked good, but was actually bad.

I checked the voltage across the wires going to the brake light switch and it was low/zero (0.03 V). I'll check and make sure that the fuses are good. Anything else to check for?

Fuse is blown...should've checked it first-thing. Thanks for the help.
