Charger Grille Emblem

I just picked up an extra center grill piece for the charger. This one had a gold emblem on it and mine has a Red one. Does anyone know did body paint color drive what emblem colors went on what cars?

The one I have sitting on my desk from a 66 Black car is gold.It was a 50K all OE car.Rocky
