I remember there being an adapter made to fit the later HEI terminal caps to the earlier chrysler distributors .

I believe its "Eric" at "Firecore" that has the caps..
From my understanding the Mopar Performance dist all have the adjustable vac pots. You can get the adj pots from the parts houses from what I hear..

adjustable vacuum advance or mechanical advance ?
I'll say yes to both if they are new stock, my 2005 crate hemi had an adjustable mechanical advance distributor on it with a [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] orange box .

damn a picture would be nice...
i went with the magnum cap adapter a few years ago. works great and the cap is an easy over the counter part just about anywhere. not sure if they make the adapter amymore though..

Rick's cap looks just like a stock one except it has HEI terminals and it's red.
