I'm looking to order up a bronze intermediate shaft for my roller cam and possibly a deep pan for my 727. Anyone have experience with the 440 source pieces? Thanks

I have the basic 7 qt deep pan from them, along with the stroker windage tray and the new 1/2" oil pickup tube designed for strokers. Their all niece pieces, especially the pickup tube (heavy duty). I haven't installed the engine yet however, so I can not attest to any clearance issues that may or may not exist.

I've got the oil pan, for the price and quality it can't be beat. Ground clearance isn't great with it but i assume all large capacity oil pans are like that.

I've already got a Milodon oil pan. I'm wondering about the deep trans pan.

I remember reading somewhere that the cast 727 pans give the trans casing some extra strength. Makes sense to me, and if it's true, it would make spending the extra money on a cast pan PLUS spacer for the filter worth the money. IIRC the source 727 pans come with just the pan and not the spacer to put the filter lower down, or have they started producing that piece?

I have their shaft and bushing in my 440, no problems and good fit.
