Dart drive shaft length

Any body know the stock center to center distance on a Dart with a 727 and a 8 3/4 ? I have a friend who needs a shaft for a street project. A used shaft will do.

should be right at 48" u-joint center to center

Get a 727 trans yoke and slide it in the trans. all the way and then pull it out 3/4 to one inch and measure from the center of the U joint hole to the center of the pinion yoke hole on the car yyour wanting the driveshaft for Thats the length you need. Make sure the car is on jackstands under the rear end so the weight is like it would be with the tires on the ground like it is when ready to drive

Thanks guys. i know how to measure for it. This is a basically stock build. He is looking for junkyard/swap meet shafts. The car is apart. 48' will do nicely.
