Syncronizer questions?

Ok, I was rebuilding my 833, I have 2 overdrive tranny's to rob the wider syncros from.

The gears in my tranny were great but I wanted to use the newer syncros but the overdrive 3-4 hub did not fit the shaft. Is there 2 differnet hubs? Are there OD/non OD hubs?

Are the sliders different between the newer and older syicros interchangeable?

The 3-4 hub is smaller in the OD unit but the slider is the same.I may have a wide key hub on the shelf if you need one.
I will look tomorrow if you need one.
