Holley Power Valve - 04/22/12 03:05 AM

Would a 2.5 PV cause a rich mixture at idle or light cruise when a 5.0 PV (vacuum 10.5) is what should be used?

Is there an easy way to check if it is ruptured or is a fixture needed?

If you have a mighty-vac hand vacuum pump there is an adapter that will fit the power valve. Make sure it seals to the PV. If not, pucker up. You can suck on it but it's NOT tasty. There is a fixture available but it's not cheap.

I have a mighty vac and will pull the old PV out and test. I remember the old gas taste NOT GOOD! Thanks for your input.

turn the idle mixtrue screws in to lightly seated & if it still idles that would point to a ruptured PV
