I have a chance to buy a 1984 ram truck with 90000 miles that is now running on propane. It is supposed to come with everything to convert it back to gas. Any body ever done any conversions either to propane or propane back to gas?

Yup, no big deal to convert it back if you wish on a 84 because it'll still have the carburator on it I'm betting.

Yes it does still have a carb.If i knew any thing about propane I would just leave it considering the price of gas.

Someone else has already paid for the cost of converting this truck, which gives you the option of using a much cheaper fuel for free.

I would check to see what propane motor fuel (sold by the gallon and not by the lb) costs. If you have a bulk account with a propane supplier (like Ferrell AutoGas), you'd be paying about $2.35/gallon right now in NY State. That's the equivalent of about $3.13/gal in terms of gasoline.
