Machine shop Southern Wi, head rebuild 63 383 - 04/06/12 01:01 AM

Looking for a recommendation to get the heads rebuilt on my 1963 Dodge 383. Not a race motor just a stock rebuild. I would go up to a 100 mile radius of Madison for the right Mopar shop. What would be the price range for a head rebuild anyway? I would need all of the machining and new valves, springs, guides etc......Thanks for any input.

C&S Racing. Butler, WI, just off HWY 45 on 124th street. Talk to Clint, he's a down to earth guy when you talk to him face to face. Hands down, VERY GOOD. They did head work on my eddys and was extrememly happy with them.

Your prices may vary, but my '69 340 X-heads just ran $500. That included magnaflux, hardened exhaust seats, valve job, and new exhaust valves since the originals were pitted. I supplied the valve seals and new Comp Cams springs, which cost another $80.00.
