Need Help with rear main seal retainer

I am ready to install an aftermarket billet rear main seal retainer with orange side seals. Are there any specific instructions with installing a rubber rear main seal with this retainer?

The two halves should be offset slightly from the bottom of the block. This is supposed to help minimize leaks. Also make sure that the lip faces IN.
