Small block head question

Do the end exhaust studs on small block heads go into the water jacket like big block heads?

yes, the ones on the ends on factory heads, not sure about aftermarket heads

On old fashioned LA heads water will pour out all over when you remove the end studs, on the good small block heads (magnums) they are dry and no water will come out of them
