Did the 66 charger come with a 4 speed Hurst shifter? The car I recently looked at has an H on the boot is this some aftermarket setup?

The boot is aftermarket. That is the original inland shifter not hurst.

I believe some "early" 66 Chargers had a Hurst shifter w/the white ball. 
But the majority have the Inland shifter like in the pic. Yeah, the boot is wrong.
